Description

As an OSH key person to the organization, either you are a Safety & Health Officer (SHO) or an OSH Coordinator (OSH-C), you cannot avoid having good leadership and communication skills besides other skills.

As an SHO or OSH-C, realizing it or not, you are the OSH Advisor to your top management and the General Secretary
to the Safety & Health Committee (SHC)/OSH Team. On top of that, you are also the key person in coordinating OSH programs for your organization plus acting as the liaison officer in dealing with DOSH officers. For all these, good communication skills are essential in ensuring all those functions/roles can be delivered effectively and efficiently.

As an excellent OSH key person, you should really master some of these aspects including your roles and responsibilities, directions, effective leadership, effective communication and also the expectations from whoever deals with you in order for you to work smartly, to perform better and achieve more.
